Genius loci

Nel 1999 ho esposto all’Accademia Albertina di Torino una mostra dal titolo “LO SPIRITO DEI LUOGHI” un lavoro sulla realtà dell'’industria e dell’'artigianato in Piemonte. Le fotografie rappresentano una sorta di set teatrale dove i protagonisti sono i tecnici e gli operai illuminati con dominanti di colore ottenute per mezzo di gelatine colorate. La mostra è stata esposta alla Stephen Gung di New York nel settembre 2001 e successivamente all’Istituto Italiano di Cultura a Berlino.

The spirit of place

In 1999, I set out at the "Accademia Albertina" of Turin an exhibition entitled "THE SPIRIT OF PLACE”, a work on the reality of the industry and crafts members in Piedmont. The photographs are a kind of stage set where the protagonists are the engineers and workers, illuminated by the dominant color obtained by color filters. The exhibition was also shown at the Stephen Gung New York in September 2001 and the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin.
